‘The GOP-controlled House surprised just about everyone when it voted 218 to 189 for a pro-medical marijuana amendment on Friday. The amendment, tacked onto the much larger criminal justice funding bill (H.R. 4660), would prohibit the Department of Justice (DOJ) from using federal taxpayer funds to interfere with medical marijuana laws in 22 states that have passed them.

The House vote was historic. It was the first time since the Marijuana Tax Act of 1937 that the majority of a chamber of Congress voted in favor of something that would alter national marijuana policy.’

5 Diseases Proven To Respond Better To Cannabis Than Prescription Drugs

'The reason cannabis is so effective medicinally is directly related to its ability to interact with receptors in the body which inhibit inflammation and prevent disease. Cannabis does this so well, that few drugs can compete with its level of potency which come essentially with no side effects. These are just 5 diseases that are proven to respond better to cannabis than to drugs, however, there are many studies currently being conducted that may prove dozens more.'

 Photo: Medical cannabis proves miraculous for terminally-ill pets ‘If your pet was sick, you would do anything possible to help it get better, right? Well the verdict is in, and medical cannabis is the way to go. Pet owners everywhere, thanks to the devoted work of people like California veterinarian Dr. Doug Kramer (who unfortunately passed away last summer), are coming to the realization that cannabis works, and that prohibition of a substance with such limitless therapeutic potential is a waste of resources and an affront to health freedom.' http://www.naturalnews.com/044995_cannabis_pets_terminal_illness.html

‘Sue Taylor, a retired Catholic school principal and grandmother from Oakland, California, was living in Atlanta, Georgia writing a parenting handbook when she got a phone call from her son that would disrupt her life.

“He told me, ‘Mom, I know how you can open up your metaphysical holistic center,’ which had been my goal,” Taylor said. Taylor had earned a degree in divinity in Atlanta and is now a metaphysical minister. “He said, ‘It will be supported by a cannabis dispensary.’”

“Cannabis dispensary?” Taylor asked him. “You talkin’ about that marijuana stuff?”

Yes, he was.’

'A remarkable case report documents a 14-year old girl who, after 34-months of chemo, radiation and bone marrow transplant treatments, was given up for dead. Her family discovered research on cannabis extract, and before she died of a secondary complication of her original treatment, used it successfully to put her leukemia into remission.

There are plenty of anecdotal reports of the successful use of cannabis in treating cancer, but few cases occur under conventional medical supervision, and virtually none make it into a peer-reviewed biomedical journal as a case report.'

'Regardless of the fact that several sessions of chemo or radiation lowers one’s chance of getting healed from so called “alternative” methods, it appears that cannabis treatment can overcome that obstacle.

Stan and Barb Rutner had already had bouts with cancer earlier in their lives. Barb twice treated breast cancer with orthodox treatments and her version of visualization. Stan managed to get through non-Hodgkin lymphoma after six months of treatment. Of course, cancer seems to like to return after remissions from mainstream treatments.  And this time, when they were older, it looked like the end for Stan.'

'Medical marijuana or cannabis is making waves by healing cancer patients. But the threat posed by this natural healer goes further than the cancer industry. Cannabis is demonstrating real benefits to those with other diseases that mainstream medicine can’t remedy, starting with Crohn’s disease.

Crohn’s disease manifests with many debilitating symptoms that are autoimmune diseases in their own right. Crohn’s disease can even be lethal. Mainstream modern medicine “manages” Crohn’s with operations that remove vital organs or parts of the gastrointestinal tract, and it uses pharmaceuticals with side effects.'

Hundreds of studies have surfaced proving the medical efficacy of cannabis, and more stories are surfacing everyday of people who have used this plant for healing.

Below is the story of a 6 year old girl, Charlotte Figi who stopped her some 300 seizures a week by using cannabis. When pharmaceutical drugs failed, her mom turned to cannabis oil in desperation. Charlotte was unable to walk, talk or eat, but after her treatment she was able to do all of those things. Cannabis reduced her seizures to two to three per week, and she is now completely off all of her pharmaceuticals.'

'Below is a video of Dr. Christina Sanchez, a molecular biologist at Compultense University in Madrid, Spain, clearly explaining how THC (the main psychoactive constitute of the cannabis plant) completely kills cancer cells.

Not long ago, we published an article examining a case study recently published where doctors used cannabis to treat Leukemia, you can read more about that here. To read more articles and view studies about how cannabis is an effective treatment and cure for cancer, click here.

Cannabinoids refer to any of group of related compounds that include cannabinol and the active constituents of cannabis. They activate cannabinoid receptors in the body. The body itself produces  compounds called endocannabinoids and they play a role in many processes within the body that help to create a healthy environment. I think it’s also important to note that cannabis has been shown to treat cancer without any psychoactive effects.'

Danielle McBride: “I Chose Cannabis To Save My Child”

'I had the chance to talk with Abel’s mother Danielle McBride about their journey through childhood cancer and the unique path they have chosen for their child. Abel’s father Andy could not be present. Andy has to remain back home in Pilot Rock, a small town in Eastern Oregon to take care of their six-year-old son, John, and continue working his job.

Abel was diagnosed on March 17th, 2013, with stage two Wilm’s Tumor (nephroblastoma), which in his case was a very large tumor that completely overtook his right kidney. Complications during surgery led to his tumor rupturing during removal, which ultimately boosted him to a stage three diagnosis. This is his story.'

ED NOTE: Once again another propaganda cannabis lie is busted!

'A recent study conducted by Andras Biokei-Gorzo at the Institute of Molecular Psychiatry at the University of Bonn in Germany is suggesting that marijuana(or the activation of the brain’s cannabinoid system) triggers the release of antioxidants, which act as a cleansing mechanism. This process is known to remove damaged cells and improve the efficiency of mitochondria. Mitochondria is the energy source that powers cells.  The study was published in Philosophical Transactions Of The Royal Society, B.'

Cannabis kicks Lyme disease to the curb

|| || ,,, || Leave a comments

'Lyme disease has been controversial for some years. Many medical practitioners misdiagnose it, while several think that it's mental. With Lyme disease, there are so many symptoms, so many debilitating, agonizing manifestations, that it's often misdiagnosed as multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue, lupus or a mental issue.

Lyme disease is caused by a spirochetal bacteria of the Borrelia genus. Spirochetes are composed of about 40% DNA and have double-membrane envelopes that make them difficult to trace and kill. They're apparently able to hide in deep tissue and change shapes to disguise their identities.'

He specializes in child neurology, migraines and chronic pain.”

Colorado Company Makes Cannabis-Based Miracle Drug For Sick Kids

|| || ,,, || Leave a comments

‘A trend is beginning among families with sick children: more and more are moving to Colorado to find a cannabis-based treatment that works wonders on seizure disorders. As more and more families find out about the cure, the company that manufactures it is struggling to keep up with the demand.

“We just have so much demand,” Jordan Stanley, one of the brothers who owns the Realm of Caring Foundation, told WBTV. “We need more space to keep growing these plants.”

The Stanley brothers founded the company when they succeeded in making a cannabis compound that was free of THC, the chemical that causes a “high” feeling in the user. The drug, called “Charlotte’s Web,” after the first child it worked on, only contains high amounts of therapeutic cannabidiol, or CBD.’
